That's it ! The Christmas jigsaw is finished.. Every year we buy a 1000 piece jigsaw, the only constraint being that it must be finished before New Year's Eve. With all the stormy weather here it was nice to see a garden and colour emerge from the gloom. But just like last year there were a couple of missing pieces and we suspect Max the dog tried to join in the fun again !

A bright Boxing Day
After a very wet couple of days, Boxing Day dawned bright and clear, so chance to enjoy a walk down to Loch Maree - with a camera, of course!

Happy Holidays
The doors of the Shepherds huts closed yesterday evening and will reopen Easter 2013. Apart from some bread orders over the holiday season these next three months are our time in the studio and developing the croft. So first of all THANK YOU for visiting us and shopping with us this year - your support and the new friends made mean a huge amount to us. If you are back this way in 2013 stop by and say hello. Of course online sales will continue whilst the shops are shut.
Most of all we wanted to say have a great holiday season and a happy New Year.
For those of you who have been following the December crochet madness here is the final arrangement of the fireplace in the cottage - bunting, crochet lights and crochet pots to hold my painted seed heads in festive colours !!

Winter Dawn
With the short winter days, the arrival of the sunrise has extra significance. Even better if it adds some warm colours to the sky.
